A healthy pet is a happy pet.
Pet wellness care in Rogers, AR.
We’re here for all stages of your pet’s life.
Ongoing pet wellness care means your pet can live a longer, happier life.
Our veterinary team will be there to deliver the finest care for your pet from the first visit and throughout their life. Our animal preventative health care strategies can help your pet live a longer and more fulfilling life, both in terms of what they can do and how long they will be able to do it. Examinations are recommended every six months because many disease states may develop rapidly. We’ll choose which blood and urine samples are ideal for your pet’s age, including when more tests like blood pressure assessment, x-rays, or fecal testing are required.
During each wellness visit, we’ll focus on a variety of topics regarding your pet’s health.
Annual physical exams
Many of our patients have annual check-ups, but for aging pets or those with medical issues, we advise examinations every twelve months for dogs under the age of six years and every six months for dogs older than seven.
Ongoing vaccination schedule
Staying on a regular vaccination schedule can help your pet live longer by preventing deadly illnesses.
Dental exams
At your annual checkup, your veterinarian will examine your pet’s dental health and offer appropriate recommendations. Pets, like people, require regular dental care at home and at the veterinary clinic. According to the American Veterinary Dental Society, 70 percent of adult cats and 80 percent of adult dogs show signs of oral disease.
Parasite prevention
We provide flea, tick, and heartworm prevention for your pets. Fleas can cost hundreds to thousands of dollars to remove from a pet and a home, and getting rid of flea eggs may be tough because they can survive for several weeks. We’ll work with you to develop the best flea and tick preventative strategy possible for your pets.
Nutrition counseling
Nutrition is extremely important to your pet’s health and well-being. Your pet’s nutritional requirements vary with age and level of activity. Work closely with our veterinary team to pick out the right food and dosage for your animal, especially if he or she is suffering from kidney disease, diabetes, or heart disease.
